Production Manager required. The ideal candidate will come from a technical background, developed and enhanced within a web based environment, with experience of managing the production and development of high quality, complex software systems in PHP 4/5, MySQL, Javascript/AJAX, Java and .NET, and will have a good understanding of the issues related to the delivery of robust, secure, accessible and industry standard compliant systems. You will also need to have an understanding of related areas including Hosting, Systems Administration, QA and Testing, and Web, Graphic and Usability design, and an appreciation of how these areas are factored in to the website production lifecycle. Also required is strong project, people and resource management experience, and an individual who can influence and contribute towards company strategy. The successful Production Manager will help to drive the continued success of my client’s busy and lively studio, with responsibilities including the management of production from various teams of specialists and working with Project Technical Leads and Heads of Section to line manage individuals. You will demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development, and will be prepared to maintain a working knowledge of the latest production and technical practices and standards.
