Our leading FTSE 100 financial services organisation is looking for 1st line technical support specialists to join our busy team at Reading.
You will provide technical support within the business to one of our business units and be the first point of contact with IT queries.
You will provide standard desk top support which may include queries relating to printer queues, workstation rebuilds as well as carrying out general XP and mainframe user administration across the platforms e.g setting up user ID's or changing data groups etc.
You will also carry out Lotus Notes administration activities such as resetting passwords or modifying mail groups.
To excel in this role you must have a thorough knowledge of MS Office and Lotus Notes applications as well as service management tools e.g Remedy or RMS.
A good knowledge of support tools used by It Service Desk and Desktop support teams are an advantage.
You will need to have experience of working in a Service Desk or environment supporting NT infrastructure, good problem solving and customer service skills.
