This position will report to the Senior Web Development Manager mainly concerned with managing front end web development strategy. The successful individual will define the strategy, build implementations plans and managed a team of three. You will need to have experience in coding semantic, accessible HTML and CSS layouts, be aware of modern web standards, cross platform browser compatibility, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, VB.Net or C#, knowledge of best practice coding within frameworks,.

Within the role you will be responsible for developing new applications and services, maintain development standards, ensure delivery timescales are met, and maximising benefits of web infrastructure, systems and services to maintain competitive advantage, managing a team of three developers.

The following are ideals and if you have exposure you will be at a distinct advantage; define XML documents and write XSLT, experience creating web 2.0 applications, usage of Javascript libraries, ability to cut psds to produce optimised page components, develop templates for CMS, Bug Tracking tools, Bugzilla, File control systems, source safe, Clearcase.
