Description:
An SAP Basis Team Lead is required by our market leading client organisation based in London.

The Role:
The Successful candidate will be responsible for the management and support of the SAP Basis Team members, with an overall goal of upgrading the SAP R3 and SD systems. Candidates applying must be experienced in UNIX scripting, technical issue resolution and system refreshes.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
-at least 5 years IT experience (including 4+ in SAP)
-Oracle system administration including upgrades and reorganisation
-fully experienced in Oracle and will be able to manage events such as recovery using SAP tools
-Experience in managing large systems
-Working to agreed deadlines
-Provide technical basis support
-Develop long term strategy for SAP Basis team in line with architecture road map

Key Success Factors:
- Responsibility for developing and maintaining good working relationships with project staff, users and suppliers
- Must be able to work to deadlines
- Consultative approach
- SAP Basis certification or equivalent

This is a challenging but rewarding position and candidates who apply must be able to communicate effectively with the Basis Team and the managers above them.
