My client is one of the most rapidly growing organisations in the financial software environment. They have been growing over the past few years and are now recruiting on a large scale. They are looking for Technical Support Manager to join their team in the City.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of SAS70 controls, procedures and implementing standards, planning, coordinating technical support across a global support team. You will be involved in reviewing client issues across support, product management, research and development and professional services. You will manage and develop issue management and control systems and provide technical guidance to the support team through application tools and techniques to improve the service efficiency.
You will be able to understand broad technical issues within an environment containing multiple operating systems, applications and databases. You will have many years experience in technical management roles including substantial client side exposure. You will have managed teams in excess of 20 people in an external support function. In depth Unix operating systems experience, at least one of the following databases; Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, alongside windows and Citrix are required for the position.
