UNIX, SOLARIS, Applications servers, Administration; UNIX specialist to for server management team for very secure, production UNIX environment, Solaris. This role is for a UNIX specialist to take a key role in the business critical, server management team of this 24/7 operational environment. This person will proactively monitor, manage and maintain all Enterprise UNIX servers ensuring 100% availability and working with other technical specialists to automate procedures to improve service levels and isolate and fix problems most efficiently. Applicants must have strong UNIX skills with Solaris. People from a strong windows and networking background will not have the experience to undertake this role. Experience within a security hardened environment, any experience of web servers (Apache) and any experience of applications servers is advantageous.
