We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Technology Programme Manager. The role holder will manage an IT Change Programme with a budget of up to 5M. The programme is part our transformational change priorities, specifically the Onboarding Strategic Business Initiative (SBI). The aim of the programme is to deliver a global customer onboarding and product fulfilment solution, which creates an integrated, simple and user-friendly experience for customers.
This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:
Define, validate and execute project plan for one or more technical programme streams.
Provide appropriate progress reporting to senior technology and business stakeholders.
Lead, facilitate and chair regular project/Agile Scrum meetings and follow up with team members as required to focus on business and operational issues or technical issues, documenting, assigning and monitoring all project issues to ensure clearance with minimal impact to project progress.
Drive programme delivery in accordance with HSBC best practice and method frameworks, with a particular focus on enterprise standards and controls.
Manage stream Risk, Action, Issue and Dependency logs escalating where appropriate.
Oversee/manage supplier delivery, ensuring third parties deliver statement of works.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
Strong technology background with Cloud experience in AWS, Google, Azure and virtualization.
Knowledge and experience in workflow management tooling such as PEGA and APPIAN
A proven track record in delivering IT applications within Financial Services.
Strong understanding of Agile, or equivalent, development methodology and DevOps tooling.
Previous experience integrating 3rd party products in to the enterprise.
Experience in working in a globally distributed team.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with experience of adapting their style to audiences of differing seniority.
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Sciences or Engineering, master degree in related field is preferable.
The base location for this role is 8 Canada Square, London.
