Backend Developer Location: Moorgate, London Contract type: 12 months fixed term contract Hours per week: 35 Salary: Circa GBP 40,000 per annum (inc London weighting) Could you play a key role in transforming how the British Red Cross use digital? We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our central digital team. In this role you will support the British Red Cross in our digital transformation journey, making key changes to our digital estate which will allow us to more effectively communicate and provide support to people in crisis. As we're approaching our 150th anniversary it's a critical time to make sure our organisation is meeting the changing and increasing expectations of those in crisis, and our volunteers and staff providing services. Reporting to the Senior backend developer, your role will be vital in helping us meet our digital ambitions in 2019 and beyond. We're responsible for the digital estate and also lead our digital transformation programme. You've got experience working in a delivery focused cross-functional sprint teamYou've got expert level skills in .NET (C#), SQL Server, MS Environments (IIS, Azure)You've got experience with automated unit testing frameworks and techniquesYou've got knowledge of modern web responsive design techniques and frameworksYou want to become a Sitecore certified developer Closing date for applications is 23:59 on the 27th January 2019 with interviews to follow week commencing 4th February 2019.
