Currently our Bank support their applications through a distributed organisation encompassing business, IT and 3rd party technicians. With an increasing number of applications, and technologies in use, and the rapid growth of the company, this role will focus on technically leading, and managing a team of 7 application support engineers, based in various locations across the UK. Who provide 2nd/3rd line support for a diverse and varied set of technologies, and systems within the bank. The Application Support Engineer Lead role will also be responsible for managing, streamlining and improving the Application Support function and providing guidance to other Application Support Engineers, using their extensive knowledge of various technologies and standards. Ensuring that any issues are resolved within agreed SLA's. The role will encompass BAU support and provide significant input in strategic and significant projects
