The National Oceanography Centre (NOC) is undertaking a major business transformation programme (Renaissance) which will result in the organisation being setup as an independent CLG with charitable status. At this time the organisation is also in the process of applying for Athena SWAN accreditation. Both of these initiatives require considerable input and change from the Department of Science & Technology (DST) and National Marine Facility (NMF).
