Lead Business Analyst
Description of role/ Overall Job Objective:

A crucial part of enabling our company's growth is having the right systems and processes in place. This is a fast paced environment where innovative ideas and projects come to life. As the lead Business Analyst it is your responsibility to own the successful development and delivery of new customer features, system enhancements and system bug resolutions. You will be part of an Agile development team and personally responsible for liaising with stakeholders, signing off on solution approaches, user stories, acceptance criteria and user experience designs to ensure the solution is fit for purpose and delivers an optimal customer experience.
You will manage the product backlog and development life cycle, making sure priorities are aligned with highest business value whilst working on and leading multiple key projects at any one time. You will be the primary source of information for the product and will leverage this expertise to provide insight and clarity at appropriate levels of detail for stakeholders, technical teams and the wider business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Key duties and responsibilities will be as follows but not limited to:
Owning the end to end Agile development life cycle from requirement, testing to release and training
Ensuring Agile rhythms in place - standups, demos, retrospectives
Mentoring and developing Business Analysts' hard and soft skills
Documenting and maintaining high level project plans and timelines, keeping stake holders up to date
Working closely with Business Analysts to turn high level requirements into user stories
Managing the product backlog and agreeing priorities for development sprints
Working closely with the business and stakeholders, understanding needs, managing expectations and ensuring outputs are accurate and deliver benefit
Facilitating workshops and meetings with multiple stakeholders
Building relationships internally and with the development teams in order to maintain the right balance between quality and velocity
Key Skills and Knowledge Sought:
Experience mentoring or managing other Business Analysts
Knowledge or experience working with a CRM and or in a digital environment
Project Methodology experience in Agile
Experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)
Ability to design simple solutions and processes that meet complex business needs
Eye for detail and quality
Strong stakeholder management
Clear communication skills, appropriate for all levels within the business
