Time Appointments are currently recruiting on behalf of well-established and leading IT company that are seeking to appoint a 1st Line IT Support Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a close-knit, busy company that prides themselves on the high-quality products and services it offers to its clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Providing first line technical support via phone, email and in person
Providing first class customer service and support in all instances, taking ownership of problems and having a pro-active approach to ensure resolution
Logging and recording support calls
Providing telephone, remote and on-site support for faults on servers, desktop computers, laptops, internet, networking, telephones and printers.
Assisting with installations as and when required
Skills & Experience Required:
1st line/helpdesk support experience
Must be a strong communicator, verbally over the phone and in person
Driving Licence, beneficial but not essential
A strong passion for IT and telecommunications
Charismatic, confident and customer focussed
Ability to demonstrate methods and resolutions to others
Ability to work as a team, and work independently using own initiative
A willingness to learn and take control of support cases
Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to make informed decisions
Excellent time management

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00-17:30, however a degree of flexibility is required
