* Assisting in a team of technicians and helpdesk staff, creating an environment of high motivation, positive engagement and providing the support required to ensure the delivery of optimal performance * Dealing as a team with 1500 workstations and laptops tied in to the clients network infrastructure in line with required deadlines * Being responsible for the efficient installation of an array of IT equipment, including printers, scanners, X-terms and workstations, and performing effective corrective and preventative maintenance as required to ensure continued functionality * Delivering comprehensive and high quality support to customers, identifying requirements using remote access technologies and by visiting client sites in order to implement relevant fixes * Accountable for technical problem management, conducting analysis to determine root causes for desktop, application, networking and infrastructure issues * Maintaining the hardware/network audit and addressing any issues as necessary * Dealing with escalations from the operational support teams of issues that require additional expert knowledge and resolving these service desk issues with optimal accuracy and efficiency * Ensuring the timely and effective resolution of incidents in alignment with defined service level objectives * Maintaining an accurate, detailed and up to date record of all detected problems * Troubleshooting PC's, laptops and mobile devices and collaborating closely with software suppliers to resolve operational issues * Providing second and third level support to high calibre customers and personnel * Managing the installation of telecommunication equipment and delivering all associated technical support as required
