We are looking for a Senior Social Channels Manager to join our Digital Engagement Team and lead the organisation's social media strategy, making sure we are providing a sector leading social media experience for our supporters and would be supporters that informs, inspires and empowers people to act for children. As Senior Social Channels Manager you will deliver a step change in our social media marketing & content, ensuring it's inspiring, engaging and accurate across all of our owned channels. You'll utilise insight to deliver increased reach, engagement and action for children, and identify opportunities for the wider distribution of top performing content across broader digital marketing channels. In this role you will: Drive and embed an organisational social media strategy that informs, inspires and empowers people to act for children, and is in line with our wider organisational goals. Be accountable for all social media output for the organisation across nine supporter facing channels, ensuring the content is sector leading. Be accountable for ensuring consistency of messaging and brand tone of voice across all nine of our supporter facing social media channels. Champion the use of analysis and insight for the development of social media campaigns and future decision making. This will involve setting, owning and driving benchmarks and KPIs for all social media output across the organisation. Develop a testing strategy for our social channels to help to deliver improved social media results that leads to increased supporter actions in line with our organisational objectives. Be accountable for the implementation and ongoing use of centralised social media software to help Save the Children maximise opportunities via our social channels through listening, analysis and workflow management. To be successful you will have digital marketing experience focused on social media, excellent knowledge of industry software & tools is also essential, as is competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. In addition you will have: Significant experience of developing and delivering social media strategies including paid media strategy, audience strategy, creative strategy and development, influencer strategy etc. Significant experience of driving improved results across a range of social media channels including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Excellent knowledge of industry software & tools including social media management, social listening and digital analytics products - for example Facebook Business Manager & Ad Manager, HootSuite, Brandwatch, Radian 6, Gorkana, Facebook Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics Experience of other digital marketing techniques such as SEO, PPC, Display, Email and Mobile. Experience of commissioning and managing external suppliers/ agencies Excellent organisational and planning skills The ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment.
