Business Analyst required by a globally recognised leading travel company based in Crawley, West Sussex. The relevant Business Analyst will have solid experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst, with strong experience of requirement gathering, design / modeling, systems analysis and implementation, within an Agile and/or Waterfall environment.

A few details about the role As a Business Analyst you will be working in a diverse environment which will utilise, challenge and enhance your full existing skill set. Some of your responsibilities in this position will include: - Provide detailed business systems analysis of projects with retail ecommerce travel systems within a hybrid Agile and Waterfall environment - Work with key project members, stakeholders and 3rd parties to gather requirements and provide design, modeling, analysis, documentation and implementation of specific projects - Collaborate with fellow Business Analysts / Business Systems Analysts on projects, as well as work on solo projects where you will be the solo Business Analyst - Use your technical ability and knowledge to read XML messages and SQL queries - Liaise closely with key project members and offshore developers
What you will need to be the successful Business Analyst Unfortunately, being interested in this position isn't enough. You will also need as many of the following as possible: - Clear, logical thinking and the creative ability to solve problems - A good communicator with the ability to fit well into a friendly and engaging team and company - 2+ years commercial experience within a business analysis / business systems analysis position - Strong requirement gathering, documentation, design and implementation experience - Experience of Agile and/or Waterfall software environments - Broad knowledge of IT, ideally including XML, SQL and HTML (nice to have)
