It's not expected that the developer is currently a Senior, as the role is designed to offer valuable progression. In terms of experience needed it can be summarised as follows:
*Experience of developing complex APIs in C# (this could be WebAPI or WCF) *A history of mentoring more Junior Developers *An appreciation for best practice
