Software Support Engineer

Position: Software Support Engineer Location: Nottingham or Preston Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: Hours will vary but initially will be on either an early / late shift pattern. About the role:
The role of the Software Support Engineer exists to provide technical support to Customers who are using KeTech Software Products.
- Provide solutions in a timely manner for issues which may arise with any software products - Log and Track support calls in the designated system - Prioritise and escalate jobs as required to ensure customer satisfaction - Identify trends in the support calls and be instrumental in developing solutions - Identifying and fixing software bugs - Assist software team with the development and testing
- 'A' level or HE equivalent in Software Engineering or similar roles performed in past - C# software language and good understanding of software design methodologies - Work is usually performed in an office setting with the possibility of some on site visits - 'On call' shifts at night and weekends will be based at home
