Your New Company
We are looking for a Multi-Lingual Service Desk analysts for our client, a global pharmaceutical company based in West Cheshire. They employ over 20,000 people across 4 continents and they truly do look after their people. Their service desk supports clients across the globe which includes Spanish, Dutch, French, German, Portuguese, English, Russian and Italian speakers. The most important element of the roles is that the successful candidate can speak and write fluently in any of the above languages and therefore, the IT side of the role will be taught. They provide a full 4 week training course on IT systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for a foreign speaking candidate to gain experience within the IT market, which is one of the fastest growing development areas in the UK.
Your New Role
You will be responsible for handling the initial contact to the IT service desk; this could be via telephone, email, live chat or portal. You role would be to triage the call before deciding whether it is an issue you can troubleshoot yourself, or to escalate the issue to the next level of support. You would then log the call and look to identify trends in the issues you are receiving in order to put preventative measures in place. You will also collaborate with the business in application testing, upgrades and deployment. The most important element of this role is that you can communicate well with the users in another language, confidently and with great customer service.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for people who are fluent in English as well as one of the following languages French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Russian. Graduates will be considered. No previous experience in an IT environment is necessary however you will need to be committed to the role and want to develop your IT skills.
