NCT is the UK's largest charity for parents, providing invaluable support and information for new and expectant parents.
We are looking for a Help Desk Administrator to join our IT Team in Bristol. With over 100 office based desktop users in a mostly Microsoft environment spread across two sites in Bristol and London and in excess of 300 home based workers and thousands of volunteers using our intranet and remote desktop environment, the HelpDesk Administrator will be providing IT support to local and remote users and carry out some local server administration tasks.
This exciting opportunity would ideally suit someone who has a keen interest in IT support and would like to join a dynamic IT team.
The ideal candidate will have:
? Experience in 1st line support. Helping end users with desktop support issues
? A good understanding of Microsoft Applications and operating systems
? Knowledge of hardware including desktops, printers, switches, routers and firewalls
? Sound judgement and decision making skills
? Exposure to Linux and VMware
? A logical approach to workflow
Whist this is a Bristol-based role, occasional travel would be required to our office in London to provide support.
