An Oracle Technical Analyst is required to join our IT team in Central Bristol on a 6 month fixed term contract.
WHAT THE ORACLE TECHNICAL ANALYST ROLE INVOLVES:
Reporting into our Back Office Applications Manager, the Oracle Technical Analyst role will provide technical expertise in the support and development of the Oracle EBS Footprint at Unite Students. Your role will include:
Supporting business users with data queries and bug fixing in the following Oracle modules: Accounts Receivable, Service Contracts, Installed Base, Advanced Collections, Advanced Pricing and core financials
Bug fixing and developing customisations in the following solutions: SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI/XML Publisher, Workflow, XML Gateway, OAF, Unix Shell Scripting, JAVA Script, Discoverer
Delivering system changes and enhancements to improve business processes
Creating and maintaining system documentation
Upon joining our busy and friendly IT team youll form close working relationships with IT colleagues, our internal customers and external partners, working collaboratively and flexibly to enable Unite Students to reach its goals.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
We have a large number of customisations using a wide range of technologies so its important to us that you have:
Significant experience of Oracle technical solutions: SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI/XML Publisher, Workflow (typically gained through a minimum of 7 years experience)
Experience of a wide breadth of Oracle Modules
Knowledge and experience of providing support and analysis for Oracle EBS R12
Experience of supporting and delivering IT change and IT projects
Ability to liaise comfortably with key stakeholders
