As one of the UKs leading independent professional services companies we are currently looking to recruit an intelligent and highlymotivated IT practitioner. Based out of our Birmingham office, you would play an important role as part of the IT team and would be tasked with supporting and maintaining the network and hardware infrastructure.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an intelligent systems professional with experience in a Windows 7 environment to develop their career within one of the UKs leading businesses. Responsibilities will include software installation, user / security set up and resolving hardware problems, acting as a technical resource for all support enquiries and any major incidents, analysing logs to identify trends and underlying problems, and carrying out updates, installations and maintenance on the server both onsite and remotely.
The ideal candidate for the role will be a technically strong IT professional with significant experience troubleshooting in a Windows 7 environment. You must be well versed in IT / Data Security policies and procedures, file access and management in a WAN / LAN environment, as well as back up and restore procedures using Enterprise level solutions.
You will have an enthusiastic personality with a flexible attitude and must be able to demonstrate a real passion for IT. You will be a well organised and flexible individual with strong communication and customer relationship skills and excellent problem solving and analytical ability.
With almost 3500 partners and staff across 35 offices generating a fee income of over 300 million, you would be joining one of the 3 principal midmarket accountancy firms at a particularly interesting time.
