The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. We are now looking for a Business Analyst to join our passionate team on a contract lasting up to 12 months.

As we embark on an exciting series of transformation programmes, we are looking for key people to lead and be part of the team to realise these ambitions. As a Business Analyst, you will join our Marketing and Communications Transformation Programme which is tasked with implementing a redesigned RNLI Marketing and Communications Team that it is fit for purpose today and for some years into the future.

If you are a business analyst from the IS sector and possess project management experience or training and great ITIL skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow and progress with our amazing charity.

Working under the direction of the Programme Manager, you will be tasked with seeking out, analysing, specifying and validating the business needs of programme partners.

You will convey user requirements to procurement and development teams and will utilise your communication, analytical and problem solving skills to aid the delivery of project objectives.

Our multi-year programme will have organisation-wide impact and you will be involved with:

- Analysing new behaviours, ways of working, technologies, processes, reporting and governance to produce greater performance
- Taking part in organisational design, people and process structures, procurement and use of new technology
- Helping to develop and expand the use of in-house marketing and CMS software
- Procuring, designing, implementing and embedding new technology within the Marketing Resource Management, digital asset management and digital advertising areas

Interested? To be considered, you must have:

- A degree level qualification (or equivalent) and substantial experience in the IS industry in a business analysis role
- Project management training or significant practical experience
- Demonstrable practical ITIL experience
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modelling, verification, and methodology development
- Experience of overseeing the procurement, design, development, and implementation of software solutions, systems, or products
- Demonstrable knowledge of industry best practice and standards for chosen area of expertise
- An understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts

Our ideal Business Analyst will have broad experience in the procurement and delivery of marketing / digital technology, however this is by no means essential. Extensive experience with core business processes, operations and software applications within large organisations, such as ERP, CRM and/or marketing systems would also be beneficial to your application.
