Based in the incredible surroundings of Chelsea Harbour, we are currently looking to resource the skills of an experienced, talented and ambitious Systems Administrator to work for this relatively new but rapidly growing Consultancy that provide high quality, resilient, secure, and reliable fit for purpose IT Infrastructure and Support Services into specialist markets such as the NHS. The role is paying up-to 40,000 per annum but comes with an exceptional benefits package.
Job Purpose: Implements, maintains and develops the system and server environment for the organisation and its customers.
Main Responsibilities Provide primary support, maintenance and configuration of the entire company, and its customers, server and storage infrastructure including new installations and reconfigurations in accordance with company policy. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of specific technical specialisms, and provides expert advice regarding their application, acting as a point of escalation for investment and resolution of complex technical issues. Review requirements and specifications, and define test conditions for proposed new systems and upgrades. Monitor service component capacity and initiate actions to resolve any shortfalls according to agreed procedures. Ensure that services and components meet and continue to meet all of their agreed performance targets and service levels. Access, analyse, develop, document and implement changes based on requests for change, and implement approved and ratified changes. Prepare and maintain operational documentation for systems or software. Provide reports and proposals for improvement to specialists, users and managers. Build and develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and role model excellent customer service at all times.
Technical Skills: You will be proficient with the following technologies and skills:-
- LAN / WAN - MS Server & Service Technologies (incl: DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Microsoft Windows 2008, 2012, etc.) - Infrastructure Technologies such as SAN, Storage Backup and Archive - Exchange 2007, 2010 - VMWare (ESX, vSphere etc.)
