Senior Java Developer JEE / J2EE Programmer sought by global Investment Bank to design and develop highly complex multi asset Java JEE systems (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, and Credit). You will be a senior but very hands-on developer with a real passion for technology and engineering world class solutions.
Requirements:
• Extensive Java / JEE development experience, ideally within a finance environment (Derivative experience highly desirable) but will consider top quality software engineers without finance experience
• Strong experience with real-time, multi-threaded, distributed, concurrent software
• Agile, Spring development model and AOP, JEE APIs inc. JMS, JDBC, JMX, XML, MarkLogic, ANT, CORBA, AJAX, JSON, Enterprise Messaging, UML, UNIX / LINUX, decoupled system design experience
• Strong academic record
• Excellent analysis and problem solving abilities
• Continually strive to improve personal skill set and knowledge base
