This FTSE 100 Giant have a new role for an experienced Web Technical Support Leader / Manager to manage and develop a very busy 3rd line Web Applications support team, predominantly within Microsoft technologies. Your responsibilities include supporting delivery of services provided by 2nd line and 3rd line application teams within the Service Level Agreement and following service procedures. Working with clients to achieve their needs and requests in a bespoke software application environment and working with 3rd party software suppliers. You will work alongside change, release and problem management to improve the stability of the applications and minimise potential service outages. It is essential you have strong experience in managing and developing a Web support team, are ITIL Accredited and that you are hands on. You will also be expected to liaise with the service centre for any root cause analysis tasks required of Application Services for major incidents.You will need to have good technical skills and understanding of the technologies used within IT web/infrastructure including; SQL Server administration (versions 2000 and 2005). SQL Server Transact SQL. MOSS 2007/WSS3/SharePoint administration/config/setup/support. Net Frameworks Server 2003/08 Microsoft IIS administration. Administering Windows Servers. Knowledge of Telecoms technologies. Knowledge of how Classic ASP applications work. Knowledge of how ASP.NET applications work. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: Critical/Essential ITIL Foundation Web architecture SQL Server (all version - developer perspective) .NET (all versions) C# ASP.NET WSS3/MOSS 2007
