Web Analyst Web Support, .Net

This FTSE100 Organisation are already spread throughout the UK with more plans for growth throughout the year. The Web Support team now has a position for an experienced Web Analyst to join them in their Applications team. You should have excellent excellent reporting skills and will primarily work on Web support based activities, although there is opportunity for candidates with the relevant skills to work on development projects in the future. You must have excellent web based and reporting skills with a solid proven track record in the application support arena. Main responsibilities of the role include: Supporting bespoke and COTS web applications to agreed service levels Supporting BizTalk and SharePoint based applications Usage of adoptive Help Desk application to record and update call incident logs Liaising with 3rd party vendors to resolve application issues Liaising with client and business analysts to obtain SharePoint requirements Provide estimates for agreed project work/system changes Interpreting specifications and amending systems accordingly Create system documentation to appropriate documentation standards Developing SharePoint based applications Adhering to ITIL procedures across the account Following the software development life cycle when making changes to applications. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE;Degree or at least two years commercial experience in an applications based role
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate current expertise: technologies as listed below:
Experience developing using asp.NET//VB.Net/.NET 2.0
Knowledge of web services
Visual Studio.Net
Crystal Reports (8 and 10)
Knowledge of SQL Server reporting service
Solid application support experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in a private sector, ITIL service based environment
